About Elphick's Shop

Elphick’s is a gallery set up in 2007 by the artist Sharon Elphick; known for her photographic montages of high-rise buildings from around the world.
Located on Columbia Road, famous for the flower market and probably one of the last places in London to boast solely independent traders, Elphick’s is an oasis of eclectic creativity and has become a destination spot for affordable art. Sharon Elphick, herself, has spent many years as an artist, collector and curator with an impeccable eye.

The space at 160 Columbia Road is now a showcase for her own work, alongside artworks from within her creative community, her friends and a decade of collecting.
The gallery is far removed from a minimalist and intimidating space in that all work is showcased alongside vintage studio pottery and displayed on found fittings from antique markets and car boot fairs, creating an inviting and welcoming setting.

With the space curated in such an innovative way, this ensures that customers can easily visualise the pieces of artwork within their own homes. Here you will find paintings and prints by unknown artists, established and immerging artists, hand made cards, posters and anything else that Elphick comes across that catches her selective eye. Prices of artworks start at a tempting twelve pounds for a limited edition print by Hazel Nicholls and never hit over three thousand for a unique, commissioned piece by Sharon Elphick.

Elphick’s is also the first and only UK retailer of Charley Harper and David Weidman’s prints.
